Ross
Headed to my races Friday afternoon and my truck sputters and dies on me...towing my bikes in the race trailer. Had to leave it at a dealership about 2 hours from home, which wasn't open Saturdays. Talked to them this AM and the fuel pump is shit... God only knows what this is going to cost me... Is this common on our trucks?
Jaymz
depending on your miles, generally speaking its fairly common with all GM full size pickups and suvs around 100k-120k. Fuel pump went out in my GMC yukon at 96k That's something a somewhat mechanically inclinded person can do himself.. So becarefull when it comes to your bill. Don't let them stick you. Good luck
Ross
Yeah - Thats what pisses me off more than anything - I know I can do the work, I'd just have to pay to have it towed all the way home in order for me to do it. Truck does have 117k on it so I guess I made it to the end of that range... Thanks
