brobradh77
From what I have read and heard there really is no way to get early detection on laser...They pretty much have to aim it directly at ya and you dont get the beam spread like a KA band so you dont get to pick up all the residual. 04CHASE
I was on my way home from work and had to pack before I left so I was trying to miss traffic still no excuse but I got away a lot of times . The oficer was way cool though first thing I said was when did you guys get laser radar guns hw was just like how did ya know that I showed him the v1 and he laughs and said I give you an A for effort I said yeah not a lot these can do for laser . Oh well I may do some research on jammers when I get home but I'm half way to the lake now . Its 106 raining where I'm at now. mcmahan
get laser shifters. works great
pnblwzd
Sorry about the ticket, that always sucks. The only way a V1 can help with laser is when it detects the people ahead of you getting hit, and you have time to slow down by the time they hit you with it. Laser is instant on/off, and does not emit the signal constantly like radar which allows the V1 to notify you miles ahead.

pnblwzd
just pay a lawyer to handle your ticket. i paid 75 bucks for the lawyer and a 90 dollar fine, no points no traffic school. How does that work? I've heard of traffic lawyers, but they were a lot more than $75. If you need traffic school, doing it online is pretty easy. ANGRYGREG
That sucks Chase. I just got one for running a red light with one of those BS cameras. The cops are out like crazy in CA right now and the price went up on all tickets.
wody
How does that work? I've heard of traffic lawyers, but they were a lot more than $75. If you need traffic school, doing it online is pretty easy. just have to look around. most of the commercial lawyers charge more. i just called a few different lawyers and 75 was the best price. all you do is bring them your ticket, drivers license, and proof of insurance, they make copies, and you pay their rate (75 bucks). they get a court date (about a month later), then they go to court. they do their legal mumbo jumbo in front of the judge to get the charges reduced to parking violations or dismissed completely and the judge issues a ruling. the lawyer sends you a letter in the mail telling you how much you owe and when (about another month later). the letter also states what your charges were reduced to and what fines you have to pay along with informing you that no points were issued and no traffic school will be needed. here is the letter i just recently got from my lawyer: ...Dear Mr. Dickson Please recall this matter involves the above-referenced traffic citation. The purpose of this letter is to bring you up to date as to the status of the case. We have negotiated the above-referenced citation. You must pay a $**.** fine on the exhibition of power charge. All other charges were dismissed. This fine must be paid within sixty (60) days of June 25, 2009 and your ticket will be reduced to a parking ticket, which means no points on your driving record... this is now the second time i've used this type of service, and honestly, it's the best way. if the fine(s) is going to be sky high and you need a little extra time to save up some money, you can not only push back the fine(s) due date but also in some cases, the fine(s) will be reduced. a few months ago i would have had a 600+ dollar fine, plus school and points, but since i did it this way, i made it out by only paying 350, no points or school. another plus is once you get your notice in the mail, you can pay online or over the phone, at least here in nevada anyway.
