MozeSS523
Recently I Installed an FLT 4L65E-5 Extreme Duty – Level 5 trans. It is great, and the truck is faster. Now 4,000 miles later it makes a whinning noise only under a load, even light accels. Is this comming from the conveter? I have a Yank Pro Truck 3200. I am looking to find another conveter so I could get rid of the whinning noise, and find a more streetable stall speed. How many discs are in my converter? Is the TC just broken in? So this is Yank's description of the TC i put in. YANK PRO TRUCK 3200 4L60E/4L65E LS1 258mm, Posi Lock-Up Clutch w/Kevlar Linings, 6 bolt mounting lugs , lightweight billet cover, 3200 stall, 2.30 STR LS1 I also was at the track tonight and realized I have no High end power 60-2.093 1/8-9.4 1/4-14.9 I was wondering if some had any suggestions on what the next step should be. Thanks
Fireman31
It's most likely the converter or the front pump....either way, the trans is probably gonna have to come out. I would get in touch with Yank and FLT as soon as possible.....
