03_SS_22
I'm still thinking about goin RWD and I was wondering what are the benefits of getting a custom DS made over just getting a DS from a ECSB truck? Also, how much stronger is the 14b over the 10b rear-end? Like how much power can they handle if you beef them up? -Eric Edited August 7, 2009 by 03_SS_22 (see edit history)
bigpickle
don't forget the 12b there pretty strong. a 10 b is stock on almost everything so parts are easy to find but a 12b is probably the way to go.
Fireman31
A 10 bolt can be built to handle alot of abuse if you use the right parts, and finding a 14 bolt with 6 lug axles isn't going to be easy. Either way, they both have an Eaton G80 which really needs to go in favor for something like a Detroit TrueTrac IMO. The 2 piece steel DS out of the RWD trucks are a better piece then the alluminum DS in AWD/4WD trucks, lots of horror stories about those.
