How Much Is It Worth?

Recommended Posts

I'm still not sure but I'm leaning towards going turbo (i'm thinking around 800) so I don't know about running the 4.10s. I have to get my finances straight but for now, I want to beef up my tranny (its going out). I'm still not sure if I want to got RWD. If I can get a good deal on a 14 bolt I will.

What do yall think?

you going 2wd?

what kind of power you going to run , i see your looking for a 14 bolt . may want to also look into a 9 inch . lighter and stronger.

I eventually want to get around the 800 HP range but all I want is too run hard. low-mid 11s. If I stay AWD what kind of tranny and rear end would you do?

4L80 and I'd just run a girdle on the rearend and not worry too much about it.

ur trying to get 800 rwhp out of the motor u have right now?? yea thats not gonna happen unless u fully forge it, replace all the internals and build it. i wouldnt even try building the motor for that if ur gonna shoot for 800. ur either gonna need a fully forged 370 or a 408 stroker to get those numbers. just saying its tough getting it there. ask chase.

The G80 diff's life will be short with the kind of power Eric plans to make, especially in a RWD application....do it right, do it once. Detroit TrueTrac or Detroit Locker, ARP bearing cap studs, and a TA bearing Girdle will strengthen the 10-bolt tremendously.

no.. im goin 370 + big azz turbo. :D ill prolly get like more toward lower 700s. but like I said the only numbers I care about are track times and how it acutally performs. dyno numbers are not the world to me.

so you think a 10 bolt with all those mods to it will hold that kind of power? are 4.10s too high for turbo apps? ive seen alot of people switching to 3.73 or 3.23 gears in the RWD applications.

im running a 285 50 20 right now but i plan on getting 20x10s in the rear with 305 50s

I was talking about him keeping it AWD...I'd get a Strange 60 if I were trying to put 800hp to rwd.

no matter what you do you will still say that at some point lol. something will break or quit working and you will say i wish i had just left my truck alone, then when you get it fixed and drive it again you'll remember why you did it :D
