Hrtbeat1 Posted August 29, 2009 Report Share Posted August 29, 2009 FWIW the GM hotcam is not that much of an improvement over the stock cam in our trucks. You would most likely be better off going with something like the Thunder racing 220 or 224. The gains over the stock cam when going to the GM hotcam would most likely make you want to kick yourself for the amount of work that you are doing. Like Wody said its not really that difficult and the link he provided is pretty well written and will give you a good idea of whats involved.
