mikeczech79
Well does anyone know why the truck only starts with my viper alarm, remote, since i had some service done this weekend at the dealer. If i start it with the key it stalls right away.I can drive it but only can start it this way. Has anyone had this problem before? I have a viper 791 xv. I appreciate any advice. Thanks Mike Edited October 14, 2009 by czechmike (see edit history)
Fireman31
Sounds to me like a PassKey problem, which is a factory installed security feature built into your ignition switch........your CEL may not go on, but your truck can still throw a code for this, I believe it is U1137. I can confirm that tomorrow morning when I get to work....
