SS Steamroller
I was wondering how the hour meter worked on our truck....tried to calculate it out with a couple other buddies with Silverado's and Sierra's but couldn't. Some of our trucks are close in milage but the hours are all over the place. Didn't know if some of it was because of remote starters and stuff or what?? Was wondering if any one would post the milage and hours of there truck for our comparisions.... Thanks and have a good day
70chevy03ss
just like the tractors and such at work its when the key is on and running that hour meter it ticking away.
SS Steamroller
So the truck doesn't have to be running....as long as the key is in the on position the meter is going??
70chevy03ss
no no running. like i said are tractors and things at work you can hear them tic and thats with the machine running or with the key in the on position, As for the truck its with the truck running and driving.
