SSplaytoy
Well this is a mod I think I am finally gonna do since GM decided not to have one factory installed on our trucks There isn't a universal kit out there, and I could get one out of any vehicle and wire it up, but I want something that is going to provide a lot of light and look good. I don't know of anyone who has done this yet either. But while searching around, I came across this under hood light how to. I think it looks pretty cool and am gonna do something similar. What do you guys think?
Ross
Holy f'ing how-to...talk about detailed. Might have to do this on the wife's solstice I agree though - breaking out the work light at night is getting old
SSplaytoy
I like all the light, but think it has is slightly rice tho. And they the site he got them off has tons of colors
FireRescueSS
I've been thinking about doing something about this issue, as well as to replace my cargo lights since I no longer have them. I have removed the bulbs with hide away LED's, but I have pondered the idea of placeing 'cargo lights' on the inside of the bed, under the bed rail. #1, it'll work the the tonnue cover on, and #2 having a switch in the dash that does nothing drives me crazy. So, maybe this mod will work for both ends of the truck.

sprayed99
well I mounted 2 on the top of the firewall, one on the fuse box shroud, and one on the volant box. I ran all wiring under the cowl and put them on a toggle switch rather than on a pop switch. heres the links to what I bought. They are also water proof. I bought 2 of each in white. http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/sto...specs%2Falm.htm http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/sto...cs%2Falm-x3.htm
smallblock500
wow that looks good it kinda looks like something you would see on a proto type car/truck at like a SEMA show to show off the motor.
