SSplaytoy
You tap out the hole that is stripped and screw in an insert that is threaded to the size you need

SSplaytoy
were can i get them??? Depending on the size you need, you may be able to find a kit at a local shop, hardware store, or auto parts store. But you can def find kits online for what you need
turboed ss
i watched a how to video on you tube and it seems pretty easy im just worried about the them coming out or breaking b/c of the heat that the turbo will generate... what do u think
SSplaytoy
You should be fine. I had to put a helicoil in a Cummins KTA-19 because the dumbass that previously worked on the motor stripped it. Torqued it down to 225 ft/lbs with no problem. Helicoils do their job man. If you are scared to use the helicoil tho, you could always drill out the hole, re-tap it to a different size and use a new bolt.
turboed ss
how much can i buy a kit for???
SSplaytoy
how much can i buy a kit for??? Between 5 and 30 bucks and sometimes over depending on the kit you get and from where. Determine what size you need and the correct pitch, then see if you can get it local somewhere. If not, then search online.
