Steve Sr. Posted February 5, 2010 Report Share Posted February 5, 2010 Hi was wondering if I could put my project in the build section if my pickup isn't a SS.I really have enjoyed following all the builds.Interesting to see all the different ways everyone chooses to take their 6.0's.Turbo's, superchargers, NOS,ETC. I was building my 4.3 and got my 1/4 mile time to 14.52 @ 92 mph.Then decided to go with a 6.0. If theres no one that objects,I'll put my progress in the build section.I don't have any pictures prior to now,but will explain all that has been accomplished. It was a 4.3 V6.I have 4.11's sent my stock cam out and had it reground(? 3.92-4.10 lift) 2.02 and 1.60 stainless valves and shorty headers with a 100 shot of NOS.With slicks.Had a superchip with it on stock with the trans settings and speed limiter off. But decided I wanted to go faster. I haven't been on a drag strip in 30 years.I have a drag strip 8 miles from my house,I really have the BUG again.Just no money.Also have a 2800 stall.
