Ive called a few places and got quotes from $300 up to $600. I also talked to the auto shop here on base and they quoted me $188 just for the quart of black paint and the other crap they need to do it (reducer, epoxy primer, clearcoat...). Last month the same guy said it would cost like $60 for the materials, now it magically costs almost $200... The one I have in in perfect shape, its blue and I need it black. Turbocoop Posted March 7, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 7, 2010 I found the old paper where they told me what Id need- he said a pint of black, a qt of clear and the activator and the total would be like $65. Now the same guy says I will need all kinds of other stuff and it will cost $188. Do I even need primer if I just sand down the blue paint thats on there and spray the black over it?
