Fireman31 Posted March 11, 2010 Report Share Posted March 11, 2010 Could be the pump, I have heard both factory and aftermarket pumps make a whistling, sucking, or buzzing noise.......it is normal in most cases, I wouldn't worry about it. I just bought the SS, noise seems to come from the tank area. I will further investigate. I asked the previous owner when I perchased he didnt even notice the noise, the guy was like 65 yrs old he said it has always sounded like this from what he could remember.
