I had a GM tech try to program a lux nav out of a hummer to my 05 SS non-lux setup. Everything worked but no sound....evidently communications issues with the amp and nav unit. Not to say it can't be done. I think you have to find a really good tech that can run the tech2. I'm pretty sure there is a thread on here either linking to or explaining the amp swap.
