alex.t Posted June 11, 2010 Report Share Posted June 11, 2010 ok guys i got the bser rollpan on this wk and got the truck back today now my body guy said that when i go to drill holes for the side mounts of the iss spoiler that i need to paint inside of them cus the rust will spread like wildfire. So are if asking us if he is correct? I would paint (touch-up) anything that is bare metal. My body guy painted the holes he drilled when installing my iss. When the guy installed mine, he did the fit-up, painted the wing and did the touch-ups on the drilled holes. Then about a week later after the paint had time to sit he did the final install. bloodclot Posted June 19, 2010 Report Share Posted June 19, 2010 if ur really worried about rust, id drill the holes first, then get whole thing painted. so all bare metal wud be covered. but if its on already just paint it with the base coat. and when its dry u can spray some body wax inside the holes.
