RickRolled Posted June 24, 2010 Report Share Posted June 24, 2010 Hey guys my driver side door panel right underneath the ss badge has popped up and is now hitting the other panel when i open my door ive tried using locktight and super epoxy to keep it down but its not working any ideas? cwest94 Posted June 24, 2010 Report Share Posted June 24, 2010 The same problem happened with my passenger side panel a couple years ago. The fix for me was when it broke off when I opened the door. smoothdime Posted June 24, 2010 Report Share Posted June 24, 2010 the only way to complete fix it is to remove the entire piece. apply the 3M double sided tape and make sure the areas its going to adhear to are completely clean. you cant get a good bond by sticking a 6 in piece betweeen the door and the cladding. make sure you tape it down for a few hours to give the double sided tape some time to stick. hope this helps. good luck. gary Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
