Truck is closer to being finish from my mothers day crash. I just got it back from my friend that did the body work. He fixed a few flaws on the new steel cowl hood, I ha him fixed the tops of the bed rails - small dents and scratches. I also had the holes on the bed rails covered, their pointless anyway.

Taping off and spraying primer like that is never a good idea. It just makes for more sanding later when it comes time to block and smooth everything down for paint. If it's not done correctly, you'll be able to see the different layers through the base and clear. Anyway, glad to see it coming back together. You plan on coming down to south florida anytime soon?

I agree with you on taping off the primer like that. That was my body guy, he is an excellent body person and a perfectionist with it. he had the truck over the weekend while I had other issues I had to deal with. My paint guy can take care of it. Yea when I took body classes in school the instructor would jump all over the students.
