They say you can tow up to 7,000lbs with our trucks. With that being said, I would not tow that much. The only thing I don't like about towing with mine, is it squats like hell with anything somewhat heavy.

Keep an eye on your trans temp.

What work has been done to the truck? And do you have trailer brakes on the trailer (also a controller in the truck)?

you should be fine. try and get trailer brake controller, and see if you can get a weight distribution hitch. if they make one for a car trailer. i know they do for my buddies toy hauler i use. you should be fine with towing it just keep an eye on your temps and hopefully its not lowered. you might be dragging good luck with the tow pepsicheer.gif

Full size suburban, ZX9R in the bed, four people, Big ass hills to go up and down, no trailer brakes. My truck was a champ, scared me driving in heavy traffic without trailer brakes though :ughdance:

You will have no problem with a U-Haul Car Trailer, they have a surge brake on the tongue, when you brake, the weight of the Trailer applies it's own brakes. I brought my Lincoln Mark VIIII from California to Ohio on a U-haul Car Hauler. I also tow my race truck on a trailer to Bonneville salt Flats and back, 3600 Miles, the only trouble I've ever had is the Trailer tires, never the truck. U-haul will set you up with the right receiver and hitchball.
