New And Need Help

I know this has prolly been asked a 100 times but I just bought a 03 ss awd and would like to get 400 hp at the wheels and was wondering what would my best bet be, supercharger or build the motor. I called to order a supercharger from stylin and the tech told me that my trans would be fine like it is...not sure thats true so just wanted some more input on what all i need to do.

your best bet would be a supercahrger , but you'll deff. have to through some money into the trans so it will hold up.

what all would i need to hold 400 hp in my trans and would jegs have what i need or somewhere else you would suggest?

you should go with a trans go hd 2 shift kit which i got off of ebay. and prob a vette servo which i got from circle d specialties when i ordered my stall, if jegs has it go for it. look in the transmission section and see if you find any more info on it but this prob will do

You deff need to beef up the trans but maybe a set of LT headers and a tune might get you close as well.

do you think that Lt headers,k&n cai, wheatley tune,corsa sport,160 sat,and a good cam

will get me close?

ya possibly pretty darn close, if you wanna do it right man i would order some trans upgrades to ,because if you wreck that tranny its goin to cost you alot more. the trans will hold up for those mods most likely, but if you have enough money to do those mods plus some tranny stuff and possibly a stall to go along with the cam you'll have a pretty fast truck. just my two cents but those mods you listed would be a pretty good start.

If your looking for a good blower setup for a good price and from a good seller ^^^ this is where you need to look. With a 2800 converter Shaun will spin all 4 wheels off the line with ease. PM him and im SURE you will work out a good deal.
