scootertrash19 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 Wow! If the cords are showing, you must have gotten you're money's worth out of them, how many miles? Quote
Fireman31 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 Ummmm, that is so incredibly dangerous, it isn't even funny......time for some new tires!! Quote
8hnpSS Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 mine were almost like that at one point lol Quote
VHO_Tek Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 I have about 3 weeks on Pirelli Scorpion STR's, got 56k out of two of the stock Eagle LS1's, busted a belt in one at about 50k. The two that had 56k on them might have gone 2-3k more but these summer thunder storms were making driving a little more "interesting" than safe. FWIW so far the Pirellis seem to do fine in heavy rain, are quiet and have great dry traction. Quote
catdaddy300 Posted July 23, 2010 Author Report Posted July 23, 2010 yeah i a have had them since i have had the truck i know i need a new tire but i really only drive like a total of like 20 miles a week but ill be getting one in the next week Quote

canadianVRss Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 If that's one of your front tires then it's not the alignment. I thought it was too but I brought it in and both upper ball joints were sooooooo gone there was tons of play. My tires were a little worse too. They actually had chunks missing:-) lol and yours wore right where mine did. Just something you might want to look into. Quote
catdaddy300 Posted October 3, 2010 Author Report Posted October 3, 2010 yeah i got to go under there one day and look at all the stuff that i am going to have to replace because i know there are or two boots that i think are broken and ill diffidently give the ole ball joints a once over Quote
