ces63ss Posted July 27, 2010 Report Share Posted July 27, 2010 Well as some know my truck has been in the shop due to it being stolen. Now my tags are due by friday and I need to get it smoged. The issue other then not having the truck is it wont pass due to exhaust on it and check engine light. Most places just want to keep taking your money. However in your situation I would call the DMV and explain there has to be a way to work around it. I wouldn't try getting a signed off or a false smog cert due to you are just opening up a possibility to have a world of problems later with smog and being legal.
