Blacksss06 Posted August 13, 2010 Report Share Posted August 13, 2010 Hey just purchased my first Silverado SS about 2 weeks ago its and 06 2wd black already ordered a Magnaflow 12599 muffler and an Airaid intake tube. Its only got 49,000 miles on it but its got cloth interior Im gonna get them recovered in leather with suede inserts but keep the bench seat it ought to be pretty unique. Im also not a fan of the painted wheels or that it doesn't have tint but for now ill be fine for awhile. I work at a chevy dealer here in my hometown thats also how I found this truck. I did the inspection on it and told them id have to buy it. Ive got alot to learn about this truck. 03SSrado Posted August 13, 2010 Report Share Posted August 13, 2010 youll fall in love with the truck. i did imediately. mine sat identical to that the day i got it , i matched the front windows with the rear which is 18%, put a muffler and a k&n filter on it and lowered it 1 3/4'' and i love it. now im on the hunt for some wheels, actually workin a deal right now but sharp truck man. From liberty kinda northwest of it. Painted as in not chrome but factory silver An '06 would have come from the factory with chrome wheels, I believe. Those may have been swapped. I kinda wish they were chrome, i dont know but this is a very low optioned truck no onstar no xm yay no clutter on the roof. cloth seats no sliding back window very simple. Kinda why i like it. looking for a set of wheels for when i have some cash to throw down.
