djm1951 Posted August 14, 2010 Report Share Posted August 14, 2010 I have a 97 Silverado. It has a 97 Tahoe 5.7 engine. You can be cruising, accelerating and all of a sudden you get a miss or kick. Hardness depends on how much you are pussing the gas pedal. Any ideas what might cause this? Only happens once in a while. The steering is also pretty loose. What can I do to tighten it up? alex.t Posted August 14, 2010 Report Share Posted August 14, 2010 well as far as the miss goes make sure that all your spark plugs are good along with the spark plug wires, make sure your cats aren't plugged. as far as the steering goes it will be in your front end like struts, pitman arms and so on.
