Trailer Hitch Questions?

question.gif well im new with the hole ss in general but im starting to "upgrade" some items, my truck has a tow mode/button. but i dont have a hitch i wanted to know if they come stock wired with a trailer plug or do i have to custome wire one in and if not any pics of were it is. thanks

Yes. They ar pre-wired and it is right above the spare tire. It is a seven wire plug. Pull the cap and plug in to the seven way connector and you are ready for a trailer. Its also wired for trailer brakes. You need to get a controler and a factory pig tail and it plugs in to the junction box that you put your left foot on top of on the floor. the plastic cover tells you witch slot. Hope that helps.

Isn't it a special type of plug that you have to hook an adapter and all to a 7-way? I just spliced that harness and hooked a 7-way to it cuz I needed it in a hurry then. Where do I get that little adapter/harness?
