troy7707pollard
Hey guys! My buddy just bought a new ford raptor and is dying to race me. I wanna do it and I'm curious if any of you have raced one before. He has the 6.2L and is pushing 410hp and 480 ft torque. I'm pretty sure ill get him off the line but he may win with the bigger engine and all. But the size of the raptor should be enough to slow him down. Do you think I should get a tune from Wheatley first? Any input would be awesome. Should be a interesting race. Thanks fellas Edited September 30, 2010 by Silveradoss19 (see edit history)
detjoe
you need a tune. I have seen reports from the local ford guys saying the are 14 sec trucks as the sit, so once these hit the market and get some aftermarket support they are going to be fast. Zebra
Try him and report back. Unless I'm missing something should be a good race. Test Results: 0 - 30 (sec): 2.7 0 - 45 (sec): 4.7 0 - 60 (sec): 7.2 0 - 75 (sec): 10.7 1/4 Mile (sec @ mph): 15.3 @ 91.0 http://blogs.insidel...-raptor-62.html
Hankg42
If ugly produced power, they'd be REALLY fast.
CTSSS
in stock form i think it would be about an even race, ive heard they run right around 15 and thats about the same as the SS stock. they have more horsepower but with those 35s and long travel sucking up the HP, it equals out to about the same in the 1/
