BLUESS2003
Hey i just bought a 2003 SS Arrival Blue silverado and noticed that the front window defroster is not working. I turn the knob to defrost my front windshield and air just keep coming out through the front vents. Any Idea of what this could be? sorry if i post this in the wrong section. misterp
Welcome to the forum. Most likely the truck has a bad actuator - the motor that controls the direction of airflow behind the dash. Mr. P.

wody
with how frequently these stepper motors take a shit, im surprised no one has made a how-to with a tools list, part numbers and pictures. if mine ever go out, and no one makes a how-to before then, i'll do it up.
