dgi Posted October 28, 2010 Report Share Posted October 28, 2010 since my 2003 was wrecked a couple years ago, its been sitting at my buddy's shop after we bought it from insurance. Im debating on picking up a 2005 5.3 standard cab/short bed truck this weekend and am curious what would be involved in bolting in the drivetrain from the SS. The shade tree mechanic in me thinks it'll just need a shorter driveshaft but im sure im wrong... any help would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
