775_SS
Hey guys, got a question here hopefully someone knows a bit about... i'm looking to paint my brake ducts black, ive heard a few ways to do it but if you guys have any suggestions i'd appreciate it! As well as if possible my billet grilles. Better to have them all powdercoated or? not too sure.
yfz450_0569
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the brake ducts at least are plastic and wouldn't work to powdercoat because of the heat... not sure though what kind of paint to use. 775_SS
no, your right. i meant to just have the grilles powdercoated, instead of trying to paint them. just tryin to see what kinda paint, how many coates, etc etc.

The_aSSet
I'd powder coat the billets, and take ur ducts to a body shop, it shouldnt be too expensive, and it'll hold up better than rattle can
built04SS
i used a scotch brite pad on my vents and put like 4 coats of duplicolor semi black on it ... 2 light coats then a medium and heavy and it worked fine havent had a problem yet and itts been about 6 months
