Hope the build is going smoothly, my family built our house a year and a half ago, pretty crazy experience. Pretty weird how different the foundation is done for your house compared to my house up here in Edmonton, AB. We have a full concrete foundation rather than cinderblocks. Kim Posted November 12, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 12, 2011 (edited) Figured I'd update this thread. Moved in the new house about February. Love it! Wish I had a garage for my truck....but oh well. We took space from the garage to make a couple of rooms in the house bigger. So.....a car will fit in it....but not my truck First day of moving in......we have grass now.... Living room, looking into the eating area. Eating area, looking into the living room. When the cats finally came out of hiding...... It took like a month longer than expected to get our couch and chair.....we used lawn chairs till then. My brother after a long weekend of drill. He's in Iraq right now. Hopefully he'll be home in about a month. The picture in the top left hand is one of my favorite things I bought for the house.
