Transmission Mount?

Recommended Posts

Yes - I highly recommend the factory GM one! Do not use poly or steel mounts unless the motor also uses a mounting plate, steel mounts, etc. If the motor can 'rock' in its cradle and you use a solid or poly mount then you greatly risk cracking the transmission housing! The transmission mount actually doesn't need to be 'strong', its primary job/stress is to simply keep the tail of the transmission from shifting to the right or left of center.
