87sheerips
At one point in the full steering rotation there is a "rubber on rubber" squeek. its on the inside and its the loudest when very cold. it drives me nuts, I had the dealership fix it once but its back to haunt me. I dont want to take it there for a minor thing like this so Im looking for input. Thanks! -JD
2006SilverSS
I had the same thing happening before, I ended up taking it to the dealer and they replaced the SIR coil and turn signal assembly which fixed the issue.

Chip
I got the same thing and was waiting to see if it goes away after the cold weather is over with but it does suck , a quick cheap how to fix would be nice!!!!!
2006SilverSS
What did that end up costing? Stupid damn squeek I'm not sure I have that info but I'll try to remember to look. I know I either took it in just before the 3 yr warranty was up or just after and used my extended one, and would have paid the $100 deductible. Chevy2K5
I have this squeak too. It is high pitched and only lasts for a few minutes when it is cold out. Once the truck warms up it goes away. Looking for a cheap fix as well.
