bryanbone
Question for the transmission guys. For some reason my 99 tahoe will not shift into overdrive when its cold. Once it warms up, it will but not untill, no matter what speed i'm driving. Anyone know what would cause this? Thanks fellas!
desrtrat
your trans fluid has to reach about 100-120* before TC will lock.

Warden
Maybe something to do with trans pressure? I would think the pressure would be higher with cold fluid.

I would scan your vehicle for codes. It seems to me that you are either having an issue with the band getting ready to fail or you have a DTC that is deleting OD.
