simpson1013
i have a 2004 chevy silverado ss. my issue is when the motor is not completly warm my idle is below 500 and results in the truck stalling some times. its performance on running has not changed, still runs strong. the idle is not rough. I put some fuel injector cleaner in the gas about 80 miles ago and havent seen any improvement. I've had it scanned for codes(there wasnt any) and no engine lights are on. Does anybody have any advice before i take it to a mechanic? Thanks, Alan

ThatTallCanadian
you don't need to remove the throttle body to clean it, just pull off your air intake tube, spray some cleaner on a rag and wipe it out. The MAF is attached to the air filter just pop it off and spray it clean with some maf cleaner.
