Stitches040
Hey All ... I am in the market for a new Key Fob for my MistreSS ... The #1 fob is dying. I have replaced the batteries, but it truly just doesn't want to work anymore. So, As I'm checking on Ebay. I seen numerous Key Fobs that say they work for my truck, 2004 Silverado SS. But the PN is different. I know I ran into a problem when I just tried to order Key Fobs to match my new Cruiser. The PN had to be Identical to work. So, my question is this. I see my Silverado SS has PN# 15186200, but I see GMC Sierra fobs with PN# 15186201. They both have Identical FCC ID numbers of LHJ011. Even though the PN's are only one digit off, but the FCC ID is the same. Would these Fobs be interchangable? Please let me know if you have any info. Also ... I will be in the market for a Key Fob if someone has one laying around after selling their SSS. ... (look for thead in For Sale Section) Thanks in advance, Shuan Edited February 17, 2011 by Stitches040 (see edit history)

I have two factory key fobs layin around since I did the remote start when I bought the truck. They only have 16000 miles on them lol as weird as that sounds. RiffelMotorsports
I have a question on the Key Fob. I have truck that didn't have one when I bought it. It looks like it did have keyless entry. I am not going to have a PN# or FCC #. Have any any suggestions on what I have to do. I have looked at those also on EBay and was going to buy one. I have only bought new GM keys so far. I hated the key that has been remaid for my truck. Thanks
LSR Mike
The FCC ID only means they're using the same Frequency, Modulation Pattern, and Power Level, basically the same transmitter. The data could be completely different.
