Im getting a GT Classic Tonneau from GEMTOP, and need to know so the factory paint can match. A response asap will be greatly appreciated. THANKS! misterp Posted February 22, 2011 Report Share Posted February 22, 2011 9835 is not the same as 41U; 9835 is the black that is on Silverado's up to 2002; in 2003 they changed to 41U "Onyx Black" - the two colors are not the same, I've seen them side-by-side; the 9835 is 'blacker' than 41U as it contains more blue tint in it. Most painters dislike 41U, and prefer the blacker 9835 -or- the black used on the Cadillac Escalades (which appears even 'blacker' and 'deeper' than 9835). Just my opinon.
