shawnss
this question has been asked many time. i have personally never dynoed my truck. but as far as pulling the front drive shaft for dynoing. you can pull the front shaft to dyno it but you can not drive the truck. from what they say do not drive the truck pull the front drive shaft on the dyno. also dont let the truck sit there and idle in a drive gear. when the truck comes to a stop on the dyno put the truck in park. if you leave it idling while in gear it you hurt the transfer case. i sure more will chime in with better info. 03SSrado
where u from? South Carolina. I wouldnt be dynoing it but for the sake of best tuning its gonna have to make some pulls to be tuned. if i pull the shaft on the roller and it makes 3 or 4 pulls do you guys think i will be ok? truck will be shut off in between pulls
04CHASE
alot of us have done it with no problems . pm justin or chpspecial they have done this many times with not a single problem . just done drive it like that . btw i made 700 rwhp way back when and it was ok . with that said if you can find an awd it will be more accurate and safer . awd dynos for 143.5 wheel base are endangered last i checked though. 04CHASE
thanks for the compliments ive worked long and hard to get them there. its really close just have to figure drivetrain loss which is quite high in an awd truck such as the SSS. id say 25% with a 65 and a little more with an 80e
