Post Pic Of 2006 Iss Front Brake Pad?

Does anyone have a pad they can take a pic of? I'm pullng my hair out. Autoanything sent wrong pads - EBC said the part number was right at first and now I'm looking at emailed drawings from EBC.

EBC thought all SS's 03-06 had same front brakes. Did my Intimidator come with different front brakes than other 06's?!??!

Ughhhhhhh I have nice new EBC rotors waiting to go on and the wrong pads.

My pads were out but are now back in.... so if you happen to have an old 06 FRONT pad laying around and can snap a pic - or text me the pic - 860dash212dash3659

It would really help right now....

'05-1/2+ SSS's changed to bigger front brakes when they went RWD, 13" as opposed to 12" on the AWD models. The pads you need should have an FMSI Reference Number of D1092. The following are part numbers that will work with your SSS.....

EBC Greenstuff 6000 Series pads - DP61742

EBC Greenstuff 7000 Series pads - DP71742

EBC USR Ultimax Series Sport rotors - USR7372

EBC 3GD Series Sport rotors - GD7372

I have the right rotors but was told wrong pad # by EBC even.

Now I had ordered Yellowstuff pads - are either of those pad numbers Yellowstuff?

Now I get this - ughhh

Our warehouse reviewed your pictures and the part nos. received and determined we sent out the right pad for your 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500, SS.

Please advise

WTF....

The pads I listed are both Greenstuff pads.......either one will work. If you order them from a place like Summit Racing, they will list the FMSI Reference Number in the product details, which is an industry cross reference across the board.....If you buy pads from Wagner, Raybestos, Bendix, Hawk, etc. they should have D1092 somewhere in the part number, or somewhere on the box or in the reference list for those pads.....

And I want to close this focked up chapter with autoanything.com

I placed the original order back in January. First set was that beat up - mishandled set I posted pics of...

Had no problems with exhaust and headers.... But this is getting old

Trust me I use Summit too - plenty of orders for the Buick...

Trouble is Summit has gotten pricey. No great deals on the stuff I'm after. Love the speed it arrives though...

I'm ordering the pads today along with plug wires - heading off to Summit now...
