if you can swing another 10k id highly suggest a c6 .

that car could have some gremlins and it keeps getting sold or its a coincidence that every owner just didnt drive it.

probably was just a sunday toy for the owners. go on a vette forum and ask for common inssues/things to look for on a car like that. if each person is selling the car because of an issue it must be pretty big or else they would have fixed it. so if its a big issue you should notice it on a test drive

The only thing that I can think to warn you about with the C5 Z06 is the rear end. They are known to explode, a buddy of mine purchased a C5 Z06 last fall and the first thing he did was throw a C6 rear end on it. That issue came up alot within the CTS-V community also, the 04-05 V's had the C5 diff in them and in 06 GM swapped the rear end to a C6 Z06 when they dropped the 6.0 in it. Other than that as mentioned before, check the forums and see what issue's u can keep an eye open for if you do decide to check out the car.

I've seen several with low miles like that. most likely the owners never drove it much. That does happen a bit with these cars. I drive mine only when the weather is nice and lately that has been rare. If I didn't drive my daughter to daycare(90 mile trip), my car would have very few miles put on her in a year. The rear ends seem to leak in these cars and pop a little. Mine has done that. Also the power windoe motors like to go out. My driver side is out now but will get replaced soon. Most on the forum think the windows go down to far and cause the motors to get stuck. I've read post on the corvette forum where members have taken the window motor cover off and worked on it a little and they work again. Fun cars to drive. If you test drive it, you will want to buy it. From what I've read most love these car because of the race car feel. The hug the road and the newer models seem a little soft to some. I love mine :peelout:

I agree that it probably just wasn't driven very much by the owners. Most people who would use a Corvette as a daily driver would have a base car, not a Z06. So give it a test drive and see what you think. I have to warn you, you may not want to get out of it! :)

^ this. in a nutshell, those cars are mainly mid life crisis events. If you like it, buy it. There are likely no red flags

They are real nice cars.No major issues as GM had the cars fairly worked out by 2002.I have a 2000 C5 and it ran great till I decided I wanted to be the fastest on the block.:D Don't worry about the rear. It's not till you get into 600+HP that you will have problems.Join corvetteforum.com.Great bunch of guys and very knowledgeable. The only problem with a car like this is because of the low miles it will be worth a lot less if you put more miles on it compared to a higher mileage car that will probably drive just as well and you will get a newer year car for the same money. My car had 85K on it when I bought it and it drove like new.I wouldn't let that hold you back from buying it though. If you love it then buy it.I would look at a bunch of them before you buy though. You learn more and more every time you look at one. There are some killer deals on C5s right now.Not a very good comparison but about 2 months ago I was looking at a 900+HP C5 that had absolutely every mod you could think of.Built by the right people. The guy had over 100K in the car and it sold for 25K:omg: .It had a Procharger on it.I'm a turbo guy but I was still willing to buy it.

Good luck.
