keebler85
Could a bad custom tune possibly set off the service air bag light? The shop I took it to says there are 24 codes thrown and they dont know where to start. The air bag has never been deployed and they said the code said it has Edited March 8, 2011 by keebler85_04 (see edit history)

keebler85
Its a pcmforless tune, not blaming them just asking if perhaps that could be it. I have not checked the connections under the seats yet either

keebler85
My last truck I had a Wheatley and I need to call him and see if he thinks it might be the tune
misterp
I doubt that the service airbag codes have anything to do with the aftermarket engine/transmission tune; what are the codes, exactly? What you will find in a lot of error reporting (codes!) is that there is one "legitimate" or "root" error, and the others are all in-turn caused because of the existence of the root issue. Mr. P. Rays B4U
I'm assuming you just installed the pcmforless tune, so if you have your stock pcm put it back in and see if the codes go away. By the way I've been running a pcmforless tune since Feb 05 without any issues or codes with one exception; every time I stomp the gas I get a grin on my face that doesn't go away for hours!
