I use to own a detailing business before joining the Air Force. I tried the Black Box stuff on my Trans Am I had and was highly disappointed. Its more of a glaze than a actual wax that is dyed black that "hide" micro scratches and micro marring on your paints surface making it look really good til after about three washes. Chemical Guys has some really good waxes for the money like the 50/50 wax.

good luck. polishing your truck is a work out. but well worth it. i polished my truck for the first time last year. it took me about 12hrs. but i did the entire truck cause i went with the Adams polish kit.

Thats pretty much it in a nutshell... its jam packed full of oily tinted fillers... so basically all you're doing is temporarily hiding defects. A few washes or a day or 2 in the sun and its back to square one. The only way to properly remove swirls and defects is machine polishing.

I agree with Dylan, I use a Flex DA with a plate adapter making a perfect combo for tackling those hard to reach spaces, or you can go with the Porter Cable XP. I use Menzerna products but Ive heard good things about Adam's Polishes. Good Luck Man!
