Ruben525
Thinking of ordering my 22's but not sure what size tires to go with. My truck is lowered 3/4 and I don't want small tires because I don't want a big gap. Right now I'm on the stock 20's 275/55's and looks good. I'm thinking of 285/40's for the 22's. What do you guys think?
NTMD8R_SS
Yeah 285/40/22's would be a good choice.
04CHASE
depends on the wheel off set , if you can fit a 305/40/22 would be my choice and ill be running them with a 3/4 soon . im running them on a 2.5/3 now without problems. i like the wider track width and smaller sidewall for handling and traction . you may get a tad nicer ride with the 285/45 (more sidewall for flex and less track width)

What do you guys think? Your current tire 275/55/20 is 31.9" tall. If you run the 285/40/22 your tire would be shorter at 31.0" tall increasing your tire/fender gap. Ruben525
Idk 305's seem to wide for me. I guess I'm gonna have to go with the 285/40's. Should be a good fit. I like wide tires but I'm not sure if I'm gonna wanna go a little lower later on. Do you guys think my truck will sit a little lower on the 22's? Anyone have pics of there trucks on some 285/40/22? I see in your sig that you have a 3/4 drop........... You gotta watch for the plastic in your drivers side fender well to wear through to your emergency brake cable....... As soon as it wears through you can kiss your tire goodbye! Seriously though, it wore my tire out in like 2k miles or less. Dont let it rub straight on the brake line casing! Ruben525
I was told that 295's are harder to get and cost a bit more but that was by some little tire shop. So who knows I need to go to the tire shop were I got my last set is SS 22's and ask.

I hated the $518/tire I was spending on my 24s so next time around I will be cheapin out lol
