Took these back off my truck when i put the Procharger on, figure someone else could use them. Theyre the magnaflow hi flow "spun" cats, part number 59959 from magnaflow. Have around 5k miles or so on them so still practically new and in great shape. $100 + the ride for both of them.

well the cats are Cali legal but idk about the long tubes...i think thats a fail right off the bat out there but then again i have no idea. my truck easily passes inspection in texas with long tubes and no cats, then again we dont have emissions testing in my county and the shop i go to for my inspection doesnt even do a visual on my exhaust :dunno:

I haven't delt with relpacing catalytic converters before. Are these direct replacements for the existing cats as far as fitment is concerned?

Will I need to modify anything to put these in?

No they aren't a direct replacement, they are 3" in/out and are really meant more for if you're running longtubes. I'm sure you could get them to work with the factory manifolds and mid pipes but it'd take a little more work.

Wondering if anybody could help me, just ordered these cats 59959, but just noticed that they are pre obd2, will they work fine in an 03ss? Going on with pacesetter longtubes and a tune.
