Warden Posted March 25, 2011 Report Share Posted March 25, 2011 I don't want any drone or too much louder then stock while cruising.Wide open loud is ok.I've ruled out Magnaflow because of drone even though their complete kit is supposed to be good.If I have to do a little fabricating that is ok. NTMD8R_SS Posted March 25, 2011 Report Share Posted March 25, 2011 Most of the aftermarket mufflers ive heard have some drone some more than others, if you want the best go whit a Corsa kit either touring or sport and that will have little to no drone. f1ss Posted March 27, 2011 Report Share Posted March 27, 2011 Corsa touring is your best bet, however it is a full exhaust not just muffler. At 75mph the Corsa system is more quite than the stock system decibal wise. I get severe migraines from drone so I can only recomend Corsa Touring, which is my choice when I go aftermarket products. I have heard a Gibson dual extreme on the 5.3 and it sounds nice, just a little bit louder than stock. I drove it for 2.5 hours and no migraine.
