rojo_143
It has been a long hard decision but I have come to the conclusion that it is time to part with the SS. As it sits right now with my daily commute and the rise in gas prices it is not practical for me to keep my truck I only get to drive it once or twice a week if that. As the truck sits right now it has 100,320 miles on it an rising. It runs great the only issue I know of is the steering box has a slight leak. The interior is in great shape it has no rips or tears just the usual wear marks. The exterior needs a little love it has a couple small dings and light scratches but main thing it needs to be buffed out. It has brand new Pirelli Scorpions tires. The only performance upgrade includes OBX Long Tube header, True Dual Magnaflow mufflers with an X-pipe that exits in front of the rear tire,145 AMP Alternator Upgrade, All of which is tuned for by Justin at Blackbear Performance. I have all factory parts except the downpipes and cats and the factory catback exhaust. I am asking ***$12,000*** Edited April 23, 2011 by rojo_143 (see edit history)

JF-03-SS
What will you be replacing it with Justin?
rojo_143
Thanks i appreciate it shawn. Well i just now found out that i am going to be a dad again for the second time so this kind of sets it in stone. Right now we are looking at Saturn Vue's, or GMC Acadia's (will never leave GM) It is kind of hard to swollow the fact that i will be trading the SS in on a SUV but that is what has to be done. This will be the first time in my life that i have not owned a truck But i will definatley be back here before to long and i will keep looming in the distance until i get another one. I might also be talking the Lowering Kit Off of the truck to sell seperate if there is anyone interested.

My buddy has the non LQ9 VHO looking gm version and his kids fit fine. Yeah it;s nice to have four full size doors but you don't need the estra space for kids. If you want adults to be in the back then yeah a SUV is a ton better.

black-SS
****BUMP NEW PRICE**** I Are you planning on selling the lowering kit. I have been looking for one for my 03 ss. Hate that your selling the truck man.
SSThunder
****BUMP NEW PRICE**** Heck of a price. If it was for sale last year I would have bought it. I had to pay $11K for my 2000 with 86K miles. Dealers make $$$ on selling used trucks. Their prices stay up and they sell pretty fast. free bump for you

detjoe
keep me posted if you do need to pull stuff off...I am local and probably have the oe parts to put back/ would be interested in the lowering kit too... The value of the SSS seems to really be tanking this year, shit a guy got 10k for a trade in?? WTF? I guess my point is that at some vaule, I'll just keep it and "hopefully" drive it...
