irishmauler
Exactly what temp. Are the stock e-fans on an '05 SSS supposed to come on? At idle, in park, A/C off, temp got as high as 226F before the fans came on low. My gut says that's wrong, but if anyone has the info on the stock perimeters, that would be awesome. irishmauler
Awesome, thanks. I can set the fans to come on sooner with my Falshpaq from superchips, but By keeping the ECT down to 190ish am I promoting other issues? GM had to have set the temps that high for a reason, right? Just for emissions, at that temp there is a ccleaner burn, not power friendly though. I don't know if hte flashpaq can change the efan turn on settings. But for less than the price of the flashpaq you can get a custom tune from one of the bendors and have much better results.
