Fireman31
You should be able to rev your engine through the RPM range, even on a stock tune........and if I recall, the stock top speed limiter is somewhere between 108 and 112 mph on most of these trucks..... zachm89
revving the engine will be possible tuned or untuned, i think my speed limiter on my truck was 109? i honestly cant even remember that far back from when the truck was untuned lol
BlueAKSSS
Looking at the stock tune file in HP Tuners for my truck it was set at 106 MPH on the Limiter and 109 MPH for Electric Throttle Control.
Silverad0 SS
my truck isnt tuned yet, and if i rev up my rev limiter is 3 grand in park/neutral and the truck max out at 5600 rpm, tune from the factory
ssbullet
Ok cool, guess I'll have to get this baby up to 110 or better
8hnpSS
i dont remember there being any rev limiter on a stock tune besides the one at 6000 or so
huero626
My V-Max stock tune is terrible, in Park or Neutral I can't rev over 4,000rpms. I can't go over 92mph, it has a three second delay in power when you floor it. The SSS tune isn't that bad, but it does benefit from a tune. AKreizinger
I believe it cuts off at 108, I've climbed it up to 142 on I95 until I started to get the feeling I was going to die. Full size trucks shouldn't be able to hit those kinda speeds anyways.
