irishmauler Posted April 26, 2011 Report Share Posted April 26, 2011 I went outside just an hour ago to get some later dinner and my lights start acting up. When the lights are on, if I step on the brake, both turn signal indicators illuminate half-way, and the signal lamps in both mirrors illuminate brightly. With the lights off, if I step on the brake, both turn signal indicators illuminate a quarter of the way. Mirror signal lamps do not illuminate. ONLY when the lights are on, if I use either turn signal, the stop light over the bed, the turn signals in the back and the license plate lights all flash in strange groupings. The condition is not present in the headlights, front turn signals and parking lamps, or day-time running lamps. I don't have the tools or manuals with me to diagnose it properly so I'm gonna take it into the dealership tomorrow. Any insights are welcome. I'd rather not have to pay GM to fix it.
