Ss 22'S Are On

Recommended Posts

Well took 2 1/2 months but they finally came in. I got em on friday. Waited that long and as soon as I seen them on I didnt like em. My trucks lowered a DJM 3/4 But sits more like a 2 in the front and 3/12 in the rear. The plan was to sit a low as possable without notching the frame so that meat a 3/4. It looks like I still have room to go another inch in the rear but then that means a flip kit. Im thinking of trying it but if it bottoms out then im gonna have to notch it. So now idk what to do sell the 22's and go back to the 20's or lower the truck some more and notch it. Its frustrating waiting all that time and now stressing bout what to do now. I look at the truck and I don't like what I see. I loved the 22's when I had them on my clone but that truck was lowered 4/6. I have alot of pics you guys can check them out and let me know what you think. I can fit 4 fingers between the tire and bed of the truck way to big of a gap. Tire size is 285/40/22. I came straight home and parked the truck thats how bad its bugging me tires only have about 40 miles on them thats from the tire shop to my house.

Move the rear leaf to the top hole on the shackle. If it already is, move it up on the hanger. You'll have to kiss your bumpstops good-bye and get some helper bags and you won't have to notch it. Then just crank the keys a bit to nudge the front down a tiny bit more.

Looks good tho man

Truck looks good to me and it def sits lower than my 2/4. Ive got belltech spindles and leafs and it doesn't sit as low as I would have liked. I have 305/40/22's though and would def recommend them. They will fill out your wheel gap a bit more and might actually even ride a bit smoother. Im guessing your tires are 285/45/22's???
