BlueThunder58
So tonight i was going down the road in my 2006 silverado Z71. came up to some train tracks that are know in calgary to be horrilbe..i slowed down to take them easy..about 30 km/hr, I go over them and hear my tires cherp...and then no power. managed to coast to the lawn of the nearby blvd. got out and noticed my abs and SERVICE BRAKE SYSTEM lights came on...i shut it down and started it up again. put it in drive and gave it some gas...seemed like it was almost staging or had a heavy load, and not moving. put it in reverse and heard a horrible noise. exactly like the rear end was hooped. so called the local ama got it towed to my house and here i sit..cruising the pages of silveradoss.com in need of some help.. am i just tired or is this a rear end issue? (my most valid guess) and what are your guys and gals suggestions to help build this mother up... altho its still a 10 bolt. im thinking motive ring and pinion a a tru-trac....and of course a rebuild kit for the housing if its not gone too....any suggestions and help would be amazing! BlueThunder58
wow... $50 for a thirty pack? Yesterday I picked up the miller lite mini keg... basically 16 draft beers for $17 i wish! but canada is a little pricey for booze.. needless to say go everything in and together...paint patterns were right in line..also spent 2 hours getting the shims right for the carrier.. theis break in period that motive requires is 500 light miles....bit of howling but i guess that is what the break in period is..only downside is that i forgot the m8 allen bolts required for the ta diff cover install so i gotta change the fluid after the break in so ill do it then...other than that it went all to plan.. good thing the parts store was only a couple minutes away. ill post pictures asap. but right now in calgary its 1 am...just got back from a nice cruise and a run in a 383 magna charged sierra...speachless
