Also if you want to make see a show check out Le Reve at the Wynn that's also a good show. Also you need to the check out the Titanic and Bodys at the Pyramid Hotel. That's an awesome museum. You must ride the roller coaster. FYI.......The stratosphere is very cool, but it is at the very end of the strip and you will be walking about 2 miles to get up to the action. We didn't bother to get a car, but I can tell you at night time the roads are pretty busy. You can buy a 24hr bus pass for $7.00 and ride the strip that way. Yea I think were gonna walk the strip and try to see as much as we can but idk about the roller coster lol The Blue Man Group Is amazing!!!!! I have seen them 4 times and i would go again tommorrow and the next day and the next day, it is that good. If you could only afford one show then BMG is it. This time of year should not be to busy, its so hot that it keeps a lot of people away. Winter time is when it is packed. The stratosphere is an ok hotel and im sure this time of year you can get some good deals. I stayed there for 2 nights 2 years ago for $29 a night. It is a little far from the rest of the casinos but the money you save could easily pay for a cab. You can also drive, the traffic on the strip really is not that bad compared to some places. If you stay there you have to go to the top, and ride the rides up there. the stratosphere is not that far from the Pawn stars Pawn shop. If you want to go to a Circ de sole I have heard many good things about KA (It has ninjas lol). I have heard good things too about Zumanity, but I also heard it was like going to watch soft core porn. I personally have never been to a Circ show but i know lots of people who have. My sister has been to them all. There are also plenty of free things to do. The freemont stree experience is cool and its a good place to people watch. Must go to the Fountains at the Bellagio, The pirate show at treasure island kina sucks and it is always packed, but may still be worth checking out. The Volcano at the mirage is cool also. Every Casino has a huge parking garage and they are all free. Driving can be a pain especially at night, but it is not as bad as trafic in LA, or other places. There is also a tram that runs from the Sahara to the MGM (basically runs most of the length of the strip). Im not sure how much it costs to ride. The Sahara is just a couple blocks from the Stratosphere. There is also a free tram thing that runs from the Excalibur to Mandalay bay, which is only 3 hotels away. I have walked from the Stratosphere to Mandalay Bay before and It is about 4 miles. Its a long walk to do especially in the heat Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
